Join us in prayer for a dear friend of Young Life. Little Joshua Kelley is having his second surgery today for a broken femur. The broken bone occurred last week and because of complications, the doctors are going in today to re-do the surgery. Please pray for his parent, Alison and John and their other children. Pray for wisdom and patience for the doctors as they operate on little Joshua. Pray for health, stamina, endurance and peace for Joshua and his family. Thank you for covering our friends in prayer!

Please be in prayer for a friend's family as her father is battling medical challenges. Jenna Lee's father (age 59) will be having a procedure Friday to put in a pacemaker to help improve his quality of life and reduce the dosage of medication. Please pray for wisdom in the doctors and safe and speedy recovery for her father.

Join us in prayer tonight as our volunteer leaders start an exciting semester/year of Young Life clubs. All over the city, college and adult volunteers have been inviting their high school friends to club. Tonight is the night when the fun really begins. Each week, Young Life leaders throw a party with a purpose. It's controlled chaos that's almost impossible to describe, but kids know it when they see it. Before the party ends, we share a simple message about God's love for them. Clubs begin at 7 and 7:29pm tonight and we would love it if you could say a prayer during that time. We will continue to pursue kids for Christ's sake!

Join us in prayer for our upcoming Fundraising Banquet on October 18, 2011. We are currently asking folks to walk alongside us in this event and commit to being a table host. Table hosts are our avenue to new folks in the community who have yet to hear about Young Life in Fort Worth. In addition to table hosts, please pray for the details, venue, catering, volunteers, parking and the committee and staff. Join us in prayer for our newly placed volunteer Young Life leaders. These college students were placed onto Young Life teams in April and after a summer away, we are eagerly awaiting their return to Fort Worth to begin pursuing middle and high school kids in our city. Volunteer Young Life leaders commit to spending countless hours a week pursuing friends in middle and high school in the hopes of sharing the life-changing message of Jesus Christ with them. Please pray for safe travels back to Fort Worth for these students as well as their upcoming semester of classes. Pray that they dive in head first into loving on young people.

Join us in prayer for our upcoming Sporting Clay Shoot on Friday, August 26, 2011. We are exactly one month away and still in need of some sponsors and folks to come out and shoot. This is a great event for men and women alike. We have a Kids' Shoot on Thursday afternoon, August 25, 2011 from 4pm until 6pm. For more information, contact the YL office or visit our homepage. 1. that Christ would be shown and spoken of during the day
2. that our guests would get a clear picture of Young Life in Fort Worth

Our second and final Wilderness trip leaves Colorado today to head back to Fort Worth. David Sweeney took 4 Western Hills students to experience a week in the mountains. Please pray for their safe travels and changed hearts during their week together.
